How do I reserve a trail ride?
All reservations are currently handled by phone. Sébastien Lefort (450 275-2162) and Joannie Lemay (438 527-3536) can both take your reservation and answer your questions.
What are the rates?
Rates are per person: 1 hour: $85 · 2 hours: $150 · 3 hours: $200 · Moonlight 3 hours: $225.
Are beginners welcome?
Yes. Beginners are welcome. Simply tell us your experience level and the experience of the other guests when you reserve.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age is 6 for the 1-hour, 2-hour, 3-hour and Moonlight rides. For children ages 6 to 9, a suitably sized horse is assigned and a second guide provides close supervision, keeping the child’s horse on a lead line throughout the ride. If more than one child ages 6 to 9 is part of the same departure, the booking is confirmed according to the availability of the required supervision.
Is there a weight limit?
For rider safety and horse welfare, some restrictions may apply depending on the available horse, equipment, ride length and trail conditions. When you reserve, we may ask a few practical questions so we can match you with a suitable horse.
Is a helmet mandatory?
A helmet is mandatory for anyone under 18 and for every beginner rider, regardless of age. It is strongly recommended for experienced adults, and the guide may require it whenever circumstances justify it.
Can we trot or gallop during the ride?
Our rides are primarily conducted at a walk. Depending on rider experience, the assigned horses, terrain and conditions, the guide may allow some sections at a trot or gallop. Faster gaits are never guaranteed and must never be initiated without the guide’s permission.
How many guests can ride together?
Groups are limited to a maximum of 5 participants per departure.
When should we arrive?
Please arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure for check-in, horse assignment, safety instructions, preparation and completion of the risk acknowledgement form.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes or boots suitable for riding are required. Long pants are strongly recommended, along with weather-appropriate clothing.
What payment methods are accepted?
For now, payment is cash only. The ranch is not yet equipped to accept debit or credit cards.
What happens if the weather is poor?
Our weather policy is flexible and depends on the conditions and trail state. If the weather is uncertain, call before coming to the ranch. When conditions do not allow for a safe ride, we will work with you to reschedule.
Is the farm animal visit included?
Yes. The farm animal visit is free and included with your trail ride. It is not offered separately.
Can we touch or feed the animals?
With a team member present and according to their directions, some animals may be approached and touched. Guests must not feed the animals.
What animals live at the ranch?
Chickens, roosters, geese, ducks, quail, goats, several pigs and rabbits.

Can I review the risk acknowledgement form in advance?
Yes. You can review the PDF form before your visit. It will still be completed and signed on site during the 15–20 minutes before departure.
